SAYFA Supports Our Troops
During this years annual Souderton Area Youth Football Association end of year banquet held in January a "passing of the helmet" took place in order to raise money for the Veterans of Foreign Wars "Operation Uplink" program. The Souderton Braves raised $1,100.00 in support of a great program that purchases phone calling cards for our United States military personnel serving overseas as well as hospitalized veterans. The program helps them stay in touch with loved ones at home. Said Brad Yerk, "It is important for everyone, including the kids, that we support those who serve our country. The Souderton Braves families don't just say we support our troops, we are doing something about it." The Souderton Braves organization would like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed.
The Souderton Braves organization presents a check to Telford VFW Post #5308 in support of the VFW "Operation Uplink" program.
