About Us
Welcome to Souderton Area Youth Football and Cheerleading! Since 1958, the Souderton Braves have been members of the Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. youth football and cheerleading organization. Pop Warner believes that academics and athletics go hand-in-hand. We aim to develop well-rounded young people who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheerleading but also the importance of education.
Our General Objective is to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed, or national origin, to practice sportsmanship and physical fitness. This program offers children the chance to learn lifetime values such as self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, and good sportsmanship—all while having fun!
Volunteers are essential! We are a nonprofit organization run entirely by dedicated volunteers. The Board of Directors and coaches involved give their time freely. When a child registers to join our organization, each family also becomes a member of our Parent Auxiliary. During practice and games, we require each family to help with various duties. Additionally, we expect your participation in several fundraisers.
Attend Meetings! As a member of the Souderton Area Youth Football and Cheerleading Association, we encourage you to attend our General Meetings. We hold meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at the Souderton American Legion.
